The Connection tubing with needleless port is a single use medical device designed to connect i.v. cannulas with other Luer-terminated infusion systems (syringes, infusion sets, etc.). It can also be used to extend or interconnect any infusion system that has a Luer termination. The Connection tubing with needleless port provides a closed system and thus microbiological safety for the life of the i.v. cannula to which it is connected or max. 100 applications. The needle-free inlet at which the tube ends allows multiple and safe access (without the use of a needle) for direct injection or infusion. The Connection tubing with needleless port is designed for pressure and gravity systems up to a pressure of 2 bar.
