GAMA GROUP a.s.

GAMA GROUP a.s. (GG) is a private joint stock company with a great potential for development. The Company is part of the KOH-I-NOOR HOLDING. The Company's main aim is to develop, produce and sell disposable medical supplies and laboratory and veterinary products made from plastics. The historical roots of the current medical production go back to the 1950's. These are the milestones of the GG since its establishment:

1986 - the GAMA n.p. (national enterprise) is established
1990 - the GAMA n.p. is transformed into a joint stock company and GAMA, a.s. České Budějovice is established
1993 - the Jimramov plant is reconstructed to a modern plant to produce disposable medical supplies in a class 100.000 production area as per US FS 209E
1994 - the GAMA, a.s. enters KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH a.s. as a strategic investor
1997 - the GAMA a.s. gains 100% control of GAMEDIUM, spol. s r.o. aiming at medical supply distribution in the Czech Republic
1998 - the GAMA a.s. is awarded the Quality Management System Certificate as per EN 46002: 1996 and ISO 9002: 1994, issued by TÜV Product Service München
2002 - Joint venture called MEDISIZE CZ established with our foreign partner
2003 - 100% of GAMA, a.s. České Budějovice is taken over by the main shareholder - GAMA GROUP a.s. and
2003 - GG gains 100% control of KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH a.s.
2004 - Gaining of Certificate EN ISO 13485:2003
2005 - the GAMA, a.s. enters VIAN Praha s.r.o. as a strategic investor
2007 - the incorporation of the company GAMA GROUP a.s. into the KOH-I-NOOR holding a.s.
2008 - Introduction of a new non-phthalate line of products DOP freeline
2009 - Introduction of a new NO PVC line of products - PVC freeline

The medical and laboratory products bearing the CE mark have a good name both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and are protected by a trademark "GAMA". Cooperation with a number of significant world producers is yet another proof of GG's quality, flexibility and reliability.
